Using the site and the extension
Game Price Finder is a Chrome extension and this informational website. You may use them to look up legitimate digital game prices for a country, platform, and edition the product supports. You need a current version of Chrome, or another Chromium browser that can load the extension.
Don’t misuse the service: don’t break it, probe it for other people’s data, or send automated traffic that gets in the way of other people using it.
Prices
Prices can be missing, late, or gone by the time you reach the shop. A price on screen is not a promise the shop will still charge it. The extension does not make up sample prices and pretend they are real.
We always rank the cheapest legitimate offer we can show first. Commission never changes that order. See the affiliate disclosure.
Affiliate links
If you click a Buy button marked Ad, you are sent through a link on which GameBid earns a commission, at no extra cost to you. Buttons that are not marked Ad are plain links. The purchase contract is between you and the store.
Your feedback
If you send feedback, you give GameBid permission to store that message so it can be read and acted on. Don’t include passwords or other people’s private information. Details are in the privacy policy.
The software
The extension and this website are provided as available. Names of games and stores belong to their owners. Game Price Finder is not those stores.
Liability
To the extent UK law allows, GameBid is not liable for lost savings, a wrong match, or a store checkout that differs from what the extension showed. Nothing here excludes rights you cannot waive under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Law
These draft terms are meant to be read under the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales are the intended forum. Have a solicitor confirm that before you rely on it.
Changes
When these terms leave draft status, the updated date on this page should change. Continuing to use the extension after that is how acceptance will be described, once a lawyer has agreed the wording.
