We earn a commission. It does not pick the winner.

GameBid earns a commission when you buy a game through a Game Price Finder link marked Ad. You do not pay extra because of that commission. The price you see is the seller’s price.

We always rank the cheapest legitimate offer first. Commission never changes the order. A shop is not placed higher because it pays us, and it is not hidden because it does not.

When a link is tagged

An affiliate parameter is added on our server, only after you click Buy, and only for a seller with an approved program. Those buttons are marked Ad, so the advertising is visible next to the action. The extension does not rewrite links on the store page, and it does not tag a link in the background.

Some stores are plain links even when a price is shown. Steam, PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, and EB Games stay plain links and are not marked Ad. Amazon affiliate links are not used. Amazon UK Associates and Amazon Australia Associates both ban affiliate links in a browser extension. Grey-market keyshops are not listed.

Why this is here

UK advertising rules, including guidance from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), expect affiliate advertising to be obvious. A price comparison should not look independent if a commission could be read as the reason one shop is favoured. The Ad mark, this page, the extension popup, and the Chrome Web Store listing are where that relationship is stated.

We do not claim these are every price in the United Kingdom. We show legitimate digital offers the service is allowed to use, for the country, platform, and edition you selected.
